Creative Clay Handbuilding

Explore the wonderful world of clay in this hand building class. Learn how to build a gnome/fairy house, an owl with personality, a funky coiled vase and other fun projects. Students will complete their projects by painting them with pottery glaze and learn about the firing process. At the end of each session students can have a try at the potters wheel.

June Session
 In this clay hand building session we will be making a gnome or fairy house, pinch pot owl, a funky fun coiled vase and more depending on time.

Meets: Monday and Wednesday 10-11:30 a.m. 6/11, 6/13, 6/18, 6/20, 6/25, 6/27
Cost: $150 (includes all materials )
Age: K-6th

July Session
In this clay hand building session we will be making stamped name plaque with beaded wire hanger, wind chimes, an ocarina (clay flute) and more depending on time.

Meets: Monday and Wednesday 10 – 11:30 a.m. 7/9, 7/11, 7/16, 7/18, 7/23, 7/25
Cost: $150 (includes all materials)
